MONDAY, AUGUST 3: Karen and Jim claim they are desperate to remove their violent and mooching 31-year-old son, Kyle, from their home. They claim they have filed a restraining order against him and even had him arrested for criminal trespassing, but say Kyle is still in their home. The parents say Kyle depends on them for all his basic needs, and they claim he wants them to provide him with more money, a car, and financial help. Karen and Jim also claim Kyle has physically assaulted both of them, leaving them bruised, and Kyle has been arrested and served time behind bars on multiple occasions. Kyle says his parents are to blame for his financial situation and, as parents, should be doing more to help him get on his own two feet, instead of keeping him in the hole he says they helped put him in.

Civil Rights Attorney On Protests: ‘This Past Week Is The Only Thing That Has Made Sense To Me’

Protests and a marked increase in racially charged political tensions have erupted across the nation in response to the May 25, 2020 death of Minneapolis resident George Floyd. Floyd was a 46-year-old African American man who died while in police custody. Derek Chauvin, a 19-year veteran of the Minneapolis police, is accused of causing Mr. Floyd’s death by holding a knee on his neck for eight minutes, 46 seconds. Chauvin was fired and has since been charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter. Three other officers present at the time were also fired but have not been charged. TELL DR. PHIL YOUR STORY: Are you involved in a story making headlines? When asked what he thinks about the protests, civil rights attorney S. Lee Merritt responds, “This might sound a little strange, but this past week is the only thing that has made sense to me.” WATCH: Civil Rights Attorney S. Lee Merritt: ‘I Don’t Think This Nation Is Ready For A Reckoning Yet’ Watch the video above to hear more from Dr. Phil’s discussion with S. Lee Merritt. Plus, find out why he says specific long-term legislative solutions are needed to address police brutality and the “dehumanization of the Black population.” And later, Dr. Phil talks to U.S. Representative Karen Bass (D-CA, 37th District), chair of the Congressional Black Caucus, author and activist Marc Lamont Hill, and activist Tamika Mallory. This episode airs Wednesday. Check here to find out where you can watch. TELL DR. PHIL YOUR STORY: Outrageous news story in your town? George Floyd was sitting in his car after attempting to buy cigarettes at a deli on May 25, 2020, when he was approached by Minneapolis police officers. Shortly after being pulled from his car, Floyd was on the ground and police officer Derek Chauvin’s knee was on his neck holding him down. The next 8 minutes and 46 seconds - the last moments of Floyd’s life - have been seen across the world and ignited protests. “There are very clear signals of his brain shutting down,” says Dr. Phil, analyzing the actions of police in the video above. On Wednesday, Dr. Phil leads a discussion with prominent members of the Black community, including national civil rights attorney S. Lee Merritt, Congresswoman Karen Bass, author and activist Marc Lamont Hill, and activist Tamika Mallory. Check here to see where you can watch. As the country continues to navigate its way through an unprecedented global pandemic and widespread civil unrest following the May 25 death of George Floyd, the unarmed Minneapolis man who lost his life while in police custody, Dr. Phil leads a discussion with prominent members of the Black community analyzing the events of the past week and what may have sparked them. Guests include national civil rights attorney S. Lee Merritt, Democratic congresswoman Karen Bass representing California’s 37th district, author and activist Marc Lamont Hill, and activist and one of “Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People” of 2017, Tamika Mallory. And as the focus shifts to the future, what happens now? And how can you help?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news. I'm not sure where they are, but usually, at least where I live, when people vanish they are probably being exploited/traffic/sold. But usually it's children that go missing. In worst cases they are found died. God bless and protect them.

Attorney keeps looking around lol i wonder what hes looking at. He seems very distracted. Anyways i hope she is found safe. I think "her boy friend" (which isn't really her boyfriend from his facebook video) set her up to get taken because his facebook video make sense and is believable until he starts talking about when she goes missing. Smh i feel sorry for his son.

What about women like Anthonette Cayedito? She’s been missing for over 30 years and no one big has really talked about her. I want to genuinely find out where she is. Dr. Phil could get her sisters on the show and that might give Anthonette the courage to come home.
