Follow Disneynature on Social: twitter.com/Disneynature instagram.com/Disneynature facebook.com/Disneynature Follow Disney+ on Social: twitter.com/DisneyPlus instagram.com/DisneyPlus facebook.com/DisneyPlus “Elephant” follows African elephant Shani and her spirited son Jomo as their herd make an epic journey hundreds of miles across the vast Kalahari Desert. Led by their great matriarch, Gaia, the family faces brutal heat, dwindling resources and persistent predators, as they follow in their ancestor’s footsteps on a quest to reach a lush, green paradise. “Dolphin Reef” dives under the sea to frolic with some of the planet’s most engaging animals: dolphins. Created with Disneynature’s signature storytelling style, the film introduces Echo, a young Pacific bottlenose dolphin who can’t quite decide if it’s time to grow up and take on new responsibilities. Dolphin society is tricky, and the coral reef that Echo and his family call home depends on all of its inhabitants to keep it healthy. But Echo has a tough time resisting the many adventures the ocean has to offer.

When will these producers understand kids actually like badass interesting characters who make them think, question things, and might possibly teach them a moral lesson? Dumbing things down to Good vs Evil goes against the plot of the first AF book.

I never read the books, but reseated the series in particular the first book and all I can say is that I feel sorry for all the fans of this series especially those looking forward to a movie adaptation, because this is nothing like the source material. This is litterally the worst trailer, I've ever seen. I feel INSULTED on behalf of my child-self. It is like they saw the complexity of the boks and thought, "Hey! Children won't understand these morally concepts and everyday sexism in a anxient society. I know! Lets SCRAP THE WHOLE FUCKING BOOK!" Newsflash. Children and young adults DO understand this and furthermore needs stories of people bettering themselves. Overcoming discrimination and readjusting their worldview after being confronted with the people they hurt by their selfish actions. TLDR: me BIG sad.

When Eoin Colfer wrote the Artemis Fowl series, he RESPECTED his YOUNG READERS enough to understand that THEY would be able to digest the NUANCE that ARTEMIS FOWL IS CLEARLY A VILLAIN. Artemis AND the readers KNOW he's NOT A HERO and NEVER WILL BE A HERO. Disney CLEARLY thinks ALL of the Artemis Fowl fans are brainless IDIOTS for doing this to our favorite criminal mastermind. BRING THE REAL ARTEMIS BACK, YOU HEARTLESS SCUMBAGS!!!

Okay Disney, listen up. Artemis Fowl was a child genius, a criminal mastermind, and a morally-grey, snarky anti-hero who gradually grew a conscience and became a better person over the course of 8 books, to the point where (spoiler) he was willing to sacrifice himself to stop the apocalypse. He was NOT a dopey, wide-eyed special snowflake who suddenly had magical fairy friends show up at his house to whisk him away to a high stakes adventure, holding his hand the entire time to make sure he didn't get lost. Why I haven't evolved into a shrieking white-hot ball of pure rage from watching this nonsense has escaped me.

I see a lot of people comparing this to the Percy Jackson movies and I...have to disagree. The PJ movie (at leas the first one) at the very least followed the basic storyline. It didn't follow it too accurately, but it followed it well enough that some semblance of the original story was there. This movie is so far removed from anything story and character wise to the originals that there's absolutely no connection between them. Not even a semblance of similarities between the original and the adaptation. Basically, this is worse than the Percy Jackson adaptations. And that's honestly impressive in a way no one should be proud of.

Why? Just why? There are so many things wrong about this trailer I don't even know where to begin. Who is this movie for? Not the fans, clearly, it has next to nothing to do with the actual plot of the books. Was it too raunchy to have Artemis Fowl to actually be himself? And to have character development? Instead of making him 'the good guy'-protector of the universe of all things magical? What even is this? And why is the Butler-who is from a long line of butlers, raised and trained to protect and serve the Fowl-family, turned into this... what ever that is. A secret society man-servant that teaches Artemis all about the fairy stuff? And... a black man, serving a rich white family? Really?

@everyone who's complaining, while i get that people expect remakes to stay true to the orginal disney movies, the previous live actions had a different tone than this one. cinderella, sleeping beauty, the lion king etc. are all children's stories/fairy tales, while mulan's story is about war and honour. i loved the animated version and it's one of my favourite disney movies to this day, but i agree that the live action should be more serious. it's literally about war and invasion and people dying, it's not exactly the little fucking mermaid is it really appropriate to make this a comedy. frankly, the comedic reliefs in the animated ver. would be too much of a distraction and seems like a dismissal to the portrayal of the chinese culture. the story is so much more than a talking dragon and a sassy grandma, it's about the country's rich culture and family values, and i wish more people would realize that and be willing to overlook satisfying their need of seeing 'magic' and cool effects. it's highkey disrespectful to say that the only thing you're coming for is the dragon or singing because you're insinuating everything else about the movie is irrelevant. if you wanna be bitter and take the extra time to comment on every single promotion about how you won't watch it, then DON'T WATCH IT no one asked u to ?? i hate to have to rant but some ppl r so fucking annoying, keep ur thoughts to urself u hoe no one cares if you're old enough to be on youtube then you're old enough to learn to keep certain things to yourself, grow up.

This isn't even... close? Not at all. It has names and locations but it takes the plot, the characters and anything actually relevant. Scraps it and injects goody goody bs. Artemis is the villain of the first book, his dad is a crime lord not some noble protector, and holly hates the guy for several books. Oh and Artemis isn't a little bitch

At least make it follow the books, I died at "I'm Holly Short, your ally on the other side" I had hopes when I heard about it, hopefully it gets at least some improvement before release. PLEASE make it better

If it wasn’t the Artemis Fowl series, this would’ve been a great movie However it isnt, it’s so different from the books In the books, Artemis had really black hair and icy cold blue eyes He was literally a main character antagonist *kidnaps Holly and plans to maybe kill her *wears suits probably 24/7 *im the bad guy duhhh Holly is supposed to have darker skin and hate Artemis/ be his enemy kinda Butler is Eurasian and usually keeps low profile, which his bleached hair doesn’t explain Artemis’s dad is a criminal mastermind, probably 100% evil until fairy magic made him nice No hate at all to the actors, Only that the story plot and character design sucks *IF YOU HAVENT READ THE BOOKS READ THEM BEFORE WATCHING THIS PLEASE*

Ok, but imagine being a little kid whose only exposure to the Artemis Fowl series is this movie. Can you imagine the surprise when you actually read the book, and watch your sweet little boy running around kidnapping and torturing people? Priceless
