Kobe Bryant leaves memories of stellar basketball career

Kobe Bryant, who has died in a helicopter crash at the age of 41, was a basketball prodigy, spending his entire storied career with the Los Angeles Lakers, where he won five NBA championships. The Lakers star, nicknamed the Black Mamba, scored 81 points against the Toronto Raptors in 2006, the second-highest in NBA history. Bryant has been mourned by Magic Johnson as 'the greatest Laker of all time' and an inspiration to a generation of young players, but his reputation was tarnished by an accusation of rape in 2003. He was killed with eight others, including his 13-year-old daughter Gianna, when the helicopter they were travelling in crashed outside Los Angeles on Sunday morning. More than 45,000 teddy bears were tossed on to the ice at a minor league hockey game in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The annual Teddy Bear Toss event happens once the Hershey Bears score their first goal of the new season. The stuffed animals are then collected and donated to local charities for the holiday season. The previous record in 2018 was just short of 35,000. The number of teddy bears exceeded the number of fans at the arena by almost five to one as the arena only holds a capacity of 10,500 people. All Blacks coach Steve Hansen: 'We got beaten by a better side'
All Blacks coach Steve Hansen: 'We got beaten by a better side'
Steve Hansen admitted that his New Zealand side were the weaker side after they lost 19-7 to England in the semi-final of the Rugby World Cup. 'We played as well as we possibly could we just got beaten by a better team and we have to take that on the chin,' the coach said. Hansen's dream of lifting the World Cup trophy as a parting gift was denied, and his side will now face either South Africa or Wales in a third-place play off next weekend Brilliant England deserved to win - we weren’t good enough, says Hansen

How come I knew the NFL position was wrong a few years ago not to follow CK position. The commissioner and his advisers who are paid a high amount did not know. Oh yeah they followed the Donald position, the guy who loves his country but not it’s people

Don't let all the owners off the hook by pinning it all on the NFL. Any team could of signed him if they truly wanted to do so. He has the talent but the owners chose not to.

And what does the American Flag have to do with black live’s matter. It’s not our flag that brings our country divided, it’s the ppl do. It’s not the American flag that brings bad selfish cops. I believe in protest, my family is Bi- racial, but I don’t believe in stealing and destroying ppl’s values. We all should respect each other, love one another, and comprising with each other. Our past life’s, our history is always going to be there. Let’s bring ppl together and hug one another.

#1. Why is there no mention of Colin Kaepernick's name? I mean he is the one that started this kneeling movement and they punished him for it. #2. We need to hear and see the NFL apologize directly to Colin Kaepernick! #3. Give Colin Kaepernick back his job!

The NFL is racist. They have proven that time and time again. Don’t listen to anything they have to say now. The players of color should start their own league. Until then, stop watching football and buying any of their products.

Stupid. You may have pulled the plug on life-support for the NFL. Who wants tailgate, host BBQs, man cave parties to here sermons about how they should be on their knees? That is the ultimate goal. When these anarchist are on their knees they are showing what you'll have to do to survive in life be it business or whatever you're doing. ESPNBLM will be demanding your job now you've confessed to the crime as charged. What you did here was stupid as you can see having an adverse effect on your knee. They'll now demand you bow the head.

🐶💩 Bunker Boy Trump - They booed you cause they DESPISE YOU AND THE IMMEASURABLE HARM YOU HAVE DONE TO THE COUNTRY THAT WILL SOON HOLD YOU IN PRISON - till you die and rot, NEVER TO BE REMEMBERED, except as a punchline to a joke told in comedy clubs where nobody goes except on Friday nights when they also have old, fat, male strippers and half-price, watered-down drinks.
